Closer to PCS

Sterling is cross training from "maintenance" to "tower." This process has gone slow and difficult so far. Trying to PCS from Italy has been affected by the cross training process. We were told we'd be among the last to get our new assignments....find out where we will be moving to.

The date of the assignments passed and we didn't hadn't heard. Sterling had to go find out what's going on. They sent an email to Washington reminding people that we had not received an assignment. And finally we got one!!

In July we are moving to America. Yay! Our new assignment will be South Dakota. We will live close to Mount Rushmore! Which is awesome! Mt Rushmore is one of the two places I want to visit in America! The Sacred Grove being the other place I want to visit.

We still don't know if we will be going right to South Dakota to find a house waiting until December before going and finding a house.
Sterling will be in training August-December and I will be visiting family.

We are very excited to atleast know where our assignment will be.

This morning was perfect. Today is Saturday so Ster didn't have to get up early for anything. Usually Ster goes to bed early with me and gets up way before me OR stays up later than me and I get up with the kids.
This morning Sterling got up to help Ty both times he needed something. Then the boys stayed in bed until after 7:00. Then Sterling and I cuddled and talked a little while before the boys came up to try and get us out of bed.
Then Sterling went downstairs to make chocolate muffins. Perfect morning!

We don't really have anything we need to do today. I need to finish editing the pictures from our cruise with Hannah Roundy. And I need to blog that.

What's going on in our families:
Aaron and Nicole are getting ready to move out of the states! Aaron will leave his family for schooling from August to December. Then they will move in December or so. They are moving for Aaron to attend school. He got into medical school. And Nicole is pregnant.

Trevor and Simone are getting married next week! Simone and the girls in Trevor's family have not been getting along. It makes the family worry that the marriage won't last. Hannah admitted that none of them have handled the situations they faced very well. Hopefully Simone realizes soon that she needs to make things work and be part of the family instead of trying to just take Trevor away from the family.

Janette just had their third girl. And Emily is pregnant with their fourth.

Ster and the boys and I are so excited to go visit our families!!  The hard part is going to see one family and then the other, instead of both at the same time. I am anxious to go be with my family but Abigail is entering the MTC soon after we leave Italy so we need to go see the Roundys first. It would not be hard if it was just a week with one family then a week with another. But I think Sterling's plan is to spend three weeks with his family then one with mine. Then he'll go to training in Tennessee and I can visit the families in whatever schedule I want.
